Objective:
Foster Hope was centered around the idea of light. Being the light to the foster teens who feel like they are at a dark place in life. This out of home campiagn was to raise awareness for teens exiting out the foster care system. While closesly researching with foster homes I found that many services don't know what happens to teens who exit out the foster care services. I created Foster Hope to not only reach a wider audience, but to also make a lasting impact for these foster teens to flourish and develop in a safe space. With that in mind i created three one main service ( a multifunction website ) and two supporting ad campaigns to direct mentors, teens, and people who want to learn more about Foster Hope
PRODUCT 1:
Using an Out of Home Ad Campaign is a strong solution for the first product because of how vast and easy to read it is. The use of billboards and posters in a populated area allows people to become more aware of the brand and their goals. I created a call to action ad that focuses on the relationship between mentors and the fostered youth. This billboard ad campaign serves as a purpose to recruit mentors and raise awareness that foster care lacks role models and teachers to educate them about how to properly prepare for their futures. The ad will reinforce a positive direction in terms of the composition. Using images of people that are comfortable and happy while doing one on one mentors will show how the brand itself is trustworthy. The composition on the billboard also creates a visual idea that relay the idea of a guiding light. The logotype plays a role as a flashlight shining through the subject to highlight the idea of success and hope. This will help spread the message that the fostered teens need a source of light and inspiration to prepare them for their futures. This ad will essentially introduce product three which provides more information to mentors and foster teens.

PRODUCT 2:
Social media is a really fast and effective way of promoting ideas and issues occurring in the world. Using a social media driven ad campaign will reach out to a wider audience. To relate to teens I wanted to create either an illustrated comic or a photo compiled comic. Teens usually are engaged more when you relate it with something they're familiar with like a comic. The comic will feature inspirational stories from mentors and previous foster youth who transitioned well into the real world successfully. Relatable stories help the youth see that there is a hope and a brighter future for them. The purpose of the comic stories is to help explain to the foster youth why having a mentor is beneficial and important while they are preparing for their futures. Having a relatable story of past foster youths really gives the youth clarity on how they can transition out successfully.

PRODUCT 3:
FosterHope’s third product is a website that communicates more information about their goals, purpose, and how people can help. The website will also feature a communication system where mentors can talk to fostered youth about how to help them prepare for their careers. I had an option for using mobile phones as a communication system but the problem with that platform is that it's not always available to many teens. Not everyone has access to a smartphone. To solve that problem, making a website that is accessible for both mobile and web allows more foster teens to use the website platform for a form of communication. The website will also feature community events that educate and provide information on how to properly transition out the foster care system. In these events, the teens will be able to receive proper education, supplies, and introduce the one on one partnered mentorships within the platform. For the youth to access the mentorship platform they will need to attend one of the community events that will inform them about mentorship programs. Essentially, the community event will help train people interested in being a mentor and help these kids find a mentor. So the goal of the website is to create a multifaceted platform that directs information to various audiences including mentors, teens, and volunteers.
