Objective:
Island's and Cities was a short story created by Sarah Dunn. When reading the story it starts out being peaceful and serene but as it progresses it becomes really eerie. In my composition the gradient helps relay the idea of change over time. Change over time is represented by the blue gradient slowly waiting to eat up the whole cover to foreshadowing the upcoming unfortunate events told in the story.  Imagery is the focal point using type as an image to communicate the idea for the shape of the a calm island and busy nature of a city. Plus the birds moving around the sky freely shows how free the birds are until the darkness looms over.
